FRESHERS 2011 - WELCOMING ALL STUDENTS BOTH NEW AND OLD BACK TO BIRMINGHAM



A Christian? Interested in Christianity? Just like discussing the big questions of life the universe and everything? Come and meet like minded people.

If you live in Beeches, Hunter Court, Queens Hospital Close or Alexander Halls then you can do all the above in the safety of your own accommodation. Otherwise we'll be meeting in Selly Oak. No prior knowledge required, just an open mind and a willingness to discuss the important things in life - does my course matter? Who is Jesus? The bible was written ages ago, how can it be relevant to me today? Is hot squash an amazing drink or a confusing experience for those expecting tea?

 

Has Britain Got Talent?

This is debatable, but it is so enjoyable to judge the look/talents/behaviour of the contestants!! The thing is we tend to do this in real life too – it’s so hard not to make judgments on people around us!! We will be looking at questions like “are some people more valuable than others?” and “does society depend on the fact some people are judged as less valuable than others?”. We will also look at what the Bible says on this topic.
